Bernadette Seals supports attorneys who fight for the rights of employees in discrimination and retaliation cases, whistleblower investigations, wage and hour disputes and the negotiation of executive employment agreements and severance packages.
Bernadette received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and her paralegal certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training’s ABA-approved program.
Prior to joining Buckley Bala Wilson Mew, she served as a senior litigation/employment paralegal. Prior to that she worked in the litigation department of a national law firm for 25 years where she began her paralegal career. At her previous firms she was involved in employment matters and complex litigation. Her experience includes assisting attorneys from case inception through trial and the appellate process.
Bernadette completed 10 years as a member of the City Schools of Decatur Board of Education, where she served as both vice-chair and chair. She and her husband are empty nesters with two adult children. She enjoys sewing, reading and attending the many festivals that the area has to offer.
