Born in Kuwait City, Kuwait, to a Venezuelan mother and an American father, Alessandra T. Palazzolo moved to the metro-Atlanta area in elementary school. As an intercultural child, Alessandra learned to appreciate and respect people’s differences, and she recognized that every person has a story to tell. Alessandra uses those lessons to help individuals who have been subject to unlawful workplace sexual harassment, retaliation, termination, and other civil rights violations based on their sex, race, ethnicity, age, disability, national origin, or religion. She also works on cases involving overtime disputes under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Alessandra is a recent graduate of Georgia State University College of Law. She graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif for her outstanding academic achievements. During law school, Alessandra served on the Law Review Executive Board as Lead Articles Editor and competed on the school’s moot court team. Alessandra also served as an intern for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Solicitor, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and a judge with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Before law school, Alessandra taught English abroad in Spain and worked with a solo practitioner with predominantly Spanish-speaking clientele. Alessandra is bilingual—speaking English and Spanish. Alessandra graduated with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in History, Technology, and Society and a Spanish minor.
Outside of work, Alessandra enjoys spending time with her family, discussing books with her book club, and solo-travel.
